Season in Review: Bowyer
For the past 2 seasons (2008, 2007), Clint Bowyer was a top-5 finisher who raced into Chase contention.
After a solid start earlier this season, including a string of top-5 finishes, Bowyer's momentum slowed and left him and his new team (#33) on the outside looking in.

Bowyer, team build solid foundation for 2010
Despite a Chase-free season, Bowyer never mailed it in
With a new team, Clint Bowyer failed to make the Chase this season, but No. 33 still managed 4 top-5 and 16 top-10 finishes, placing him near the top tier of NASCAR's elite drivers.
Leaving Martinsville in March, Bowyer had notched his 3rd top-5 finish of the year and was 2nd in drivers' standings behind Jeff Gordon.
You work hard and you're very proud of your team and their hard work that they've put into a year and when it doesn't go according to plan it's frustrating and hard to take for everybody. (c) - CLINT BOWYER
With little on the line but the desire to finish strong, Bowyer managed to ruffle the feathers of this year's Cup champion at Homestead when
Jimmie Johnson asked Chad Knaus to have his spotter go talk to Bowyer's about racing too closely, considering what was on the line historically for No. 48. Knaus overruled his driver only telling him on the radio, "
We don't need to be starting anything right now."
