The action at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is expected to take the green flag shortly after 2:15 p.m. ET.
Just the facts:

Today's race is scheduled to be 400 miles long, 160 laps in distance;
Mark Martin will lead the field of 43 drivers to the green flag today;
Jeff Gordon is the winningest NASCAR driver at IMS with 4 wins;

GREEN FLAG! = #5 Mark Martin leads the field to the flag.
Just a reminder, there are three hoosiers and an honorary one in today's field. #14 Tony Stewart, #39 Ryan Newman and #12 David Stremme are Indiana natives while #24 Jeff Gordon grew up in the state.
CAUTION 1 - Lap 2:
Right at the end of the 1st lap #7 Robby Gordon spun out in Turn 4.
He says over the radio that he may have slipped in somebody's oil.
Surprisingly, Gordon did not hit anybody and he just has flat tires.
NASCAR black flagged #19 Elliott Sadler as they believe it is his car that has a problem and dropped the fluid on track.
