Как я понял и Кайл Бущ и Скотт Спид НЕ гоняются в Гранд-Ам в 2009г.

Лайза Мэйфилд, приемная мать Джереми Мэйфилда, отстраненного от гонок после позитивного теста на наркотики, заявила, что видела много раз, что Джереми иногда употребляет метамфетамин с 1998 года, который делал у себя в магазине пока лекарства, содержащие псевдоэфедрин (один из компонентов метамфетамина) не были запрещены к свободной продаже. Позже он стал покупать его у других людей. Среди этих случаев был и такой, когда в 1999 году Мэйфилд вышел на старт одной из гонок под воздействием мета. После гонки в Ричмонде тест дал положительный результат на мет, Джереми же утверждал, что подобный результат анализа вызвала комбинация препаратов Adderall и Claritin-D. NASCAR требует отмены решения суда, основанного на результатах независимого теста от LabCorp, который дал отрицательный результат. Этот анализ был взят спустя час после другого анализа, второго после того, что был взят гонки в Ричмонде, проведенного Aegis Laboratories, организации, сотрудничающей с NASCAR. В России, ранее в СССР, более известен его гидрохлорид, употребляющийся внутривенно, под торговой маркой "первитин" или под сленговым названием "винт". Что можно сказать на это? Запрещая вспомогательную электронику, организаторы гонок стремятся к тому, чтобы гонки были соревнованием пилотов, а не инженеров-электронщиков. Теперь же есть угроза, что гонки могут превратиться в состязание химиков. Но Мэйфилда судить не надо - какая-то темная эта история, на мой взгляд. |

Вот я редко когда интересуюсь НАСКАРом, но иногда появляется желание почитать новости. Вот в этой теме вроде бы как их можно найти. Но добрая часть - на английском языке. Я понимаю, что в школе следовало лучше учить инглиш, что сам виноват. Но у нас вроде бы русскоязычный форум. Почему нельзя выкладывать новости хотя бы с приблизительным переводом? Будут новости на русском, всем хорошо понятном языке, и читатели потянутся, быть может, и зрителей у гонок НАСКАР прибавится. На многих русскоязычных форумах запрещены сообщения, набранные не кириллицей, и отчасти это правильно. Просьба не цитировать, в диалог не вступать. Кто обиделся - пишите жалобы. Вы это умеете делать. |

NASCAR president Mike Helton publicly stated there were no plans in place to run a Sprint Cup road race on a wet track in the near future. Goodyear officials said Sunday the Akron-based tire company would be equal to the task. There's not that big a difference between the two cars and if you go back years ago, we did run them in Japan on the Cup cars. Stucker said a number of factors go into the design of a NASCAR rain tire that can be used at a variety of road courses. While Watkins Glen requires a tire that can handle faster corners, Montreal places an emphasis on cornering. "If you were designing specifically for those tracks, it would probably lend itself to have a softer rain tire at Montreal than you'd have here," Stucker said. It has to be robust enough to handle here and Montreal. NASCAR's experiment with rain tires was magnifique NASCAR and Goodyear were prepared for the rain, and so were the fans. To NASCAR's credit, for not having run races in the rain very often, they did a pretty good job.
